Landscape Design and Installation
Landscaping is a home improvement that grows in beauty and value every year. Home buyers in a Gallup poll estimated that landscaping, on the average, adds 14.8% to the value or selling price on their home. We enjoy using our knowledge and experience to help you create a landscape that suits you and your style. We look forward to helping you through every stage of your project from start to completion. Please read about our three distinct alternatives for your landscape project and let us know how we can help you!
For landscape projects (residential/ commercial design/ build) we refer clients to our design/build landscape department. Our designers are experts in complete landscape planning, including landscape ordinance plans. We are equipped to install residential, commercial and ranch country landscapes including patios, walkways, drainage solutions, lighting and water features. We can facilitate installation of pools, outdoor kitchens and shade structures. Gill’s landscape designers take pride in offering custom designs for each individual project.
For small projects, we have a garden coach. Our garden coach, Grace, can visit with you in the garden center or she can come to your home/office to help guide you with your landscape. A small project is defined as a couple of flower beds, some shrubs that need planting, a butterfly garden, or maybe even a small courtyard. She can sketch up ideas and bid the work if you want a price for Gill’s to install. There will be a charge of $75.00 per visit. If the job location is beyond our Zone 1, travel charges will be incurred as listed on the Gill’s Delivery Fees sheet.
For those who want to “Do-It-Yourself,” we have a do-it-yourself packet in our garden center. This packet gets you thinking about your landscape area, your style preferences, wind and sun exposures, how you are going to use it and more! It teaches you how to sketch your area and even gives you graph paper for your drawing. Once you have completed our “DIY” packet, bring it in to our garden center and begin making your plant selections. Texas Certified Nursery Professionals are always here to help.
