I love growing squash because it’s so easy to grow. I planted mine in mid- February from starters I got here at  Gill’s. They are heavy feeders so I worked plenty of Nature’s Blend Compost into the soil before planting for a rich soil base, and later applied liquid seaweed extract. I particularly enjoy growing straight neck. It can be steamed, stuffed, baked or used fresh from the garden in salads. It has been a great feeling of success seeing my family & friends enjoying the fruits of my labor!
