Date and Time : October 12 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Bring the kids to get messy and make some wildflower seed balls! October is time to plant wildflowers and seed balls are such a fun and easy way to do it. Seed balls are simply balls formed with our native clay soil + compost, some sand, a little water, and Texas native wildflower seeds. Instead of planting them, you just place them in contact with the ground and they plant themselves! We’ll have stations set up with all the supplies for kids to make their own seed balls to scatter wherever they want to see wildflowers emerge next spring. Great for ages 2-12.
Event Location : Gill Garden Center + Landscape Co.
