Our Professional Landscaping Process is Centered Around Great Communication
At Gill Garden Center + Landscape Co., we have a simple process to help you get the landscaping services you need in Corpus Christi, Texas and surrounding areas. If you have a good idea of what you want to accomplish in your outdoor areas, or if you have questions about your landscape and want to get a better idea of how our company can help, begin by first looking at our online pricing guide to get a better idea of our pricing and services, and then fill out our online form or give us a call. A professional landscape designer will call you back within three business days. During this call, the designer will spend about 15 minutes talking about your landscaping ideas and making sure our company is a good fit for you. If you have a smaller project in mind, we may refer you to our Garden Center, where you can find all the plants, gardening supplies, and tools that you'll need. If you have a larger project in mind, such as a complete landscape overhaul or the addition of several landscaping elements, we will schedule a time for you and the landscape designer to meet on your property, usually within the next week. This on-site visit costs $125.
Your On-Site Consultation
Our landscape designer will collect the consultation fee and spend up to an hour on your property taking photos and measurements, listening to your thoughts and ideas, and making recommendations for things you may not have even considered. After the consultation, we can then get to work on your landscape design. We charge $125 per hour for design work, and the average design takes us about 3-5 hours to complete. More complicated projects will come with a design proposal, so you can see what we will be doing before we spend the time doing it. Your design plan presentation meeting will be scheduled within 2-4 weeks of the on-site consultation.
Design Plan Presentation Meeting
You will get an opportunity to review the plan at our design studio in Corpus Christi. We also take you around the Garden Center to show you plant and hardscape selections, allowing you to choose when possible. If we need to make revisions to the plan, we will email you a revised plan later. Once we have reached an agreement on the design plan, we collect a 25% down payment on planting projects and 50% on projects that include hardscapes. After the down payment is collected, we can get you on our calendar for landscape installation.
Landscape Installation
On the starting day of your project, your landscape designer and crew will show up on time and introduce you to the installation crew leader. Together, we will walk through your property to review the design plan. After that, we can begin the work! Count on us to keep you updated on the status of your project throughout the process. If you have questions, we are easy to reach and respond quickly so you never have to wait long for an answer.
We promise to clean up after ourselves every day, leaving your property looking tidy. We strive to minimize disruption to your life as much as possible during the installation process.
Final Walkthrough and Ongoing Maintenance
Before you know it, your new landscape will be complete! On the final day, we will walk through the property with you, making sure you are completely satisfied with the way it turned out. We will also give you a custom care package that will detail ways to keep your new landscape healthy and well-maintained. As always, we strive to be as helpful as possible.
