Fall gardening season is just about here, y’all! We’re so excited about our next round of events at Gill’s starting September 3rd! Veggie gardening talks, garden art projects, our 2nd annual Fall Plant Fest, evening workshops, & more! Thursday, September 3rd – Cenizo Garden Drawing Club

The Cenizo Garden Drawing Club welcomes art and plant enthusiasts to an open & friendly gardening community to practice their drawing skills and get to know the plants around them. Join us as we share gardening tips and draw specific plants or gardening still lifes. No drawing experience? No problem! We welcome all levels. Each session is led by a professional artist to help your progress if you choose. Drawing boards and chairs will be provided. After you RSVP, you will be emailed a suggested drawing supply list.

Saturday, September 19th – Fall Veggie Gardening Talk with DeAnna & Wyatt!

Join us Saturday, September 19th at 10:00 AM here at Gill’s for an informative talk all about fall veggie gardening! Our gardening experts, DeAnna Baumgartner and Wyatt Page, will cover everything you need to know for a successful fall harvest, from early fall favorites like tomatoes, peppers, and squash to cool-season crops like broccoli, greens, cauliflower, and more. Bring your veggie gardening questions and stick around for some fun gift card giveaways!

Thursday, September 24th – Propagation/Cutting Jar Workshop

Join Gill’s houseplant expert, Ori Roldan for a fun evening learning how to take cuttings from mother houseplants and start your own babies! Use our mother plants or bring your own. You’ll learn how to propagate and leave the workshop with your own beautiful cuttings growing in a glass jar.

Workshop limited to 25 guests – $20 each – click here to reserve your spot. Drinks and light snacks provided.

Saturday, October 10th – Fall Plant Fest at Gill’s

Calling all gardeners, plant lovers, and families!

Our 2nd Annual Fall Plant Fest is coming to Gill’s! Join us for a fun-filled fall celebration featuring a petting zoo, pumpkin painting for the kids, fall photo ops, fall flower potting, gourd painting for all ages, local vendors, food trucks, fall-themed drinks, tons of fall plant specials, and more!

Bring the whole family and celebrate the season with us at Gill’s!

You planted, watered, watched, and waited… now it’s time to see who grew the biggest Sugar Pie pumpkin!

Join us at Gill’s on November 7th at 10 a.m. for the official weigh-in of our first-ever Pumpkin Growing Contest. Bring your pumpkin, completed contest form, and progress photos, and let’s tip the scales! Even if you’re not entered, still stop by to check out the pumpkins!

Get creative with us after hours at Gill’s for a festive Holiday Wreath-Making Workshop! 🎄

We’ll provide dried grapevine wreath frames along with plenty of fresh garland, cut flowers, greenery, holiday ornaments, ribbon, and more so you can design a wreath that’s completely your own.
