Pink Calandiva Kalanchoes to Support Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we’ve partnered with FIRST FRIDAY, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to breast cancer awareness. This Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 14-16, when you buy a pink Calandiva Kalanchoe at Gill’s, 100% of your purchase is donated to FIRST FRIDAY!

FIRST FRIDAY was formed by a group of Corpus Christi women in 1994 to increase awareness of the importance of early detection and to provide free screening mammograms for those who cannot otherwise afford the care. Such a great cause!

Plant something pink and feel extra good about it!

  1. Thank you for supporting FIRST FRIDAY. We all know early detection saves lives and no one should avoid a mammogram because of they are unable to pay. Providing mammograms didn’t stop during the pandemic, however our fundraisers did, so this is such a blessing. Thank you Gill’s.
