Attention plant people: join us here at Gill’s this Saturday, December 17th for our last event of 2022! We’re so excited to host the Corpus Christi Bonsai Club! Members will be here at Gill’s to display their amazing bonsai and give talks and demonstrations throughout the day.
The Corpus Christi Bonsai Club has been around since 1976 and still going strong. The special event at Gill’s this Saturday is a display and demonstration as well as a membership drive. They want to show the public that everybody can bonsai! If you attend the event and purchase a membership, you get a whole 2nd year for free!
We’re especially excited to see the club members demonstrate bonsai techniques on a few of our native trees, like the Yaupon Holly! The Bonsai Club will be set up at Gill’s this Saturday, 12/17/22 from 9am-3pm, with scheduled demonstrations at 10am and 1pm, and informal demos all day. See you Saturday!

Will they have bonsai’s for sale?
Hi Adam – none for sale, but there will be some giveaways! They’ll demo a few trees and do drawings to win them.
