Kathy Hubner, FAPLD, TCNP
Kathy specializes in complete landscape planning for residential, commercial and ranch country properties, including patios, pools, outdoor kitchens, water features, shade structures and updates for existing landscapes. She also specializes in Xeriscape planning. Kathy is certified to prepare landscape ordinance plans for commercial projects.
Kathy is a Corpus Christi native and graduate of Texas A & M Kingsville. She has been with Gill Landscape Nursery since 1987. She is an award winning, certified landscape designer and a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers. She is a Texas Certified Nursery Professional and a graduate of Leadership Corpus Christi, class 24.

Phillip Elbert
After studying under James Gill and learning the landscape design and construction trade, Phillip began his design career with Gill Nursery in 2008. Before relocating to Corpus Christi, he grew up in Southern California: an area renown for cutting edge landscape design.
Phillip learned from the beginning how to design with environmentally sensitive practices that he applies to all facets of his design work. He has a gift to create unique and stunning landscapes that are not only beautiful, but also practical. From traveling across the world, Phillip is able to bring a broad range of natural beauty to his projects.

James Gill
A native of Corpus Christi and a graduate of WB Ray High School, James attended Texas A&M University, College Station in landscape architecture. He specializes in Xeriscapes, Native Plants, Backyard Ponds, and drainage problems and is a Texas Master Certified Nursery Professional.
Doing it yourself?
For those who want to “Do-It-Yourself,” we have a do-it-yourself packet in our garden center. This packet gets you thinking about your landscape area, your style preferences, wind and sun exposures, how you are going to use it and more! It teaches you how to sketch your area and even gives you graph paper for your drawing. Once you have completed our “DIY” packet, bring it in to our garden center and begin making your plant selections. Texas Certified Nursery Professionals are always here to help.
